Y’all remember the Carl’s Junior “Six-Dollar Burger”? The name was referring to a hamburger that tasted like it cost $6, because that would have been a lot to pay for a burger. It was actually $3.25 or something like that.
I remember them being $6 at first, and then it quickly became a joke as the price rose well above $6 within a year or two after being introduced. They were never around $3-4 here. CJ’s was my favorite place to go until they got up to $9 just for the burger alone.
