He must really be counting on Pogačar getting bored of racing. Other than that, it makes sense, really doesn’t look like he has much to complain about.
And based off of the TdF, it looks like if Pogačar keeps racing and maintains his form, del Toro is probably better off being on his team than not. The teamwork was great to see, and they really did look more like teammates than rivals.
It’s evident that Pogacar likes him and wants him to win stuff, which I suppose makes it easy to stay. Now, I hate Pogacar and UAE and I would like Del Toro to ride for someone else, but it makes sense for him to stay as it is.
