In Minden NE they have a museum that seems like maybe it’s just a bunch of junk I’ve paid to see. Then I came across sealed off living rooms across the decades and this one creeped me out because I felt for sure I’d been in it before.
My parents and grandparents had spaces a lot like this.
I just refinished an old, solid-wood nightstand. Probably at least 50 years old. Sanding off the old finish down to bare wood gave a distinct old cigarette smell. Not like an ashtray, but old and mild.
