I would argue Gokusen is too much of a comedy rather than the drama vibe from the examples OP listed. But I do love Gokusen so if anybody wants a comedy please watch.
Yeah but there’s usually at least one sentimental part in each episode, so it still counts as a drama in my opinion, even if it’s really only, like, mock-sentimental…
Yeah there are some heart felt moments. But the vibe of Gokusen is no where close to something like the Queen’s Gambit or the Crown that OP gave as examples
