Yep, I’ve been using Linux for gaming for years on and off.
The funny thing is that I owned an Xbox, and, it failed to stream to windows (just got a black screen). That’s actually when i spit the dummy and sold the Xbox, and switched back to linux.
I also owned a Mac Studio M2, which cost MORE than a gaming PC, (M2 didn’t even have hardware raytracing). And, my steam library was fairly empty (because, no proton).
No OS is perfect, but, Steam clearly wouldn’t be releasing a Linux based VR headset and “console”, if they weren’t confident.
