Our soil is… difficult. That’s why this land had a house on it, not a farm lol. Still, plenty of life in the soil, we would just like to make it a bit fluffier. Until then I will free all the worms from the garlic tendrils.

The spoils:

These are all from garlic harvested last year, which was a bad year due to leek moths. We have since rotated location and have no evidence of the pest in this crop. Yay!

Hopefully that means we can build our numbers up again.

I brought them inside to dry a bit, then I will brush off the dirt and hang them to cure. The largest bulbs will be put aside to plant in October and the rest will be enjoyed.
