I just find they’re overplayed, overrated, and kind of cringey.

Ska is one of my go to genres, a favorite, but I wish Sublime would go away. Every time I hear them I can’t get their songs out of my head for much longer than I would like. Every time.

I also used to hear them way too much in a place outside the US, which outside of shitty pop music was one of those “American” bands or whatever they thought, so bars played them. A lot.

    I don’t know where I said old or boring. I said they get stuck on my head way too easily. I never said they were bad or untalented, I just think they’re overrated. And for that matter, so are the Beatles.

    But, I guess since this happens with so many bands, I guess I have to like em, even if I don’t.

    And that’s why I put this in “unpopular opinion”. I never asked to be convince to like a band I don’t like or for someone to change my mind. I just think Sublime is overplayed and overrated, they get stuck in my head.
