Arellano began placing Hackett under arrest. He said he saw alcohol in the car and learned another trooper had pulled her over days earlier and also found an open container.
The media reporting that “he said he saw alcohol.” Not “alcohol was found in the vehicle.” Not “was charged for having open alcohol while driving” if which there would need to be physical evidence.
Learned another trooper had found alcohol days earlier. Not “was arrested for having alcohol in the vehicle” of which there would be an actual record.
Are you certain there was any alcohol, or do you think he’s making up an excuse for his behavior and the media and his fellow officers are providing him cover?
Well there was one time I heard about a cop telling the truth. He complained about the abuse and fraud in the LAPD. He filed complaints appropriately and then he got written up, told he needed to improve.
Eventually, he was fired and declared war on the LAPD and their families. That’s the part you might have heard about before.
“Caught for going 71 in a 60 mile an hour zone”, if she was white this would have been a ticket and a “have a nice night, please keep to the speed limit”.
