Every time they announce a recall, I rarely ever hear anything about when said foods are safe again.
Like, is this entire year’s crop of lettuce, jalapeños, etc just ruined or what? 🤔
Edit for the true vegans: Yes, I like, even love a good vegan salad, more often than I tend to admit. But hell, when the veggies are causing weeks of diarrhea, what do?


Yes, that’s the general ideal approach.
But it’s not like the snap of a finger and ‘poof it’s gone’…
It can take a week or more before they verify and get the contaminated shit off the store shelves, out of warehouses, and out of restaurants…
Then what? No more lettuce for the rest of the year, because the entire lettuce crop of the year is contaminated?
