In 2020, a spate of sitcoms on streaming platforms and in syndication, including “Community,” “30 Rock,” and “Golden Girls,” pulled episodes that showed their characters using black- and brownface; likewise, FX took down five episodes of “Sunny.”

That sounds like facing cancellation in a cultural sense to me.
