I don’t like dem changes, it makes me go crazy for some years.
I researched shelf life of the plastic used and I already know the rate which my eye glasses break. So I will be rocking these for the next decade or more.

The ones I’ve used never cared. If my old frame was still in good shape, I would just have them reuse it. Never a problem.
