Most people don’t. He’s a weird and offputting perpetually online guy with shit politics that doesn’t treat his dog well and I don’t like that some people on the left are trying to push him down everyone’s throats. No thanks.

He’s also very politically influencial to a non-insignificant demographic whether you like it or not. Feels pretty important to be aware of people like that as a politician.

But this headline is bullshit clickbait. They DO know who he is, they said they don’t know him personally.

I genuinely don’t think the demographic that watches a weirdo dog zapper 10 hours a day gets out much or is politically or socially active. Most people don’t know who Piker is and that’s OK. If you don’t believe me go to your local place where people are and ask a number of them if they know who he is. Politicians don’t have to be in the know about every online streamer or even any of them. That’s all Piker is.

Should I reply to this comment or should I save my thoughts for when you move the goalposts again?

I didn’t move goalposts and no Reddit snark is necessary. I just don’t think his political influence over constantly online children and man children counts for shit and politicians don’t need to acknowledge his existence or even their opinions on somebody like him. I suspect that very few of his fan base votes or is politically or socially active offline.

People keep trying to make Hasan relevant to the real world and he just isn’t. People outside don’t know about him.

You sound like the DNC. Dismissing young voters is how we got Harris.

Sick burn, Redditor. Young voters not being politically active and instead being abscent is in part how we got Harris.

How did this turn from me saying a politician should be aware of people who are talking about politics to their prospective voters to you running out of insults?

You’ve just been stringing together things that sound related but don’t actually go against what I said.
