There was an old video of some sorts I recall vaguely (satire, commercial, have no idea) where a large group of Chinese officials were in a presentation, discussing the world affairs. My memory of it is very rough, but the “punchline” was one of them asking the speaker at the end what they should do about competing with the Western world/US politically and economically. And he said, nothing. They’ll do themselves in and that’s when China will take leadership of the world.

I did think it was a commercial, right length and all, but I can’t think what product it would be.
Yeah, this is what confuses me. But it could be all kinds of things. Language classes, international banking, fiscally minded propaganda, etc.
