    These things are disruptive. Ask them to change. If they don’t, then send them home and call the parents. If staff are wearing them, just send them home to change. Most parents want their kids to get an education and I can’t imagine many truly know everything their kids get up to. Admins need to back the teachers and let them teach. Parents need to stop Karening so hard anytime someone corrects their kids.

      Yup the problem here is that a lot of administrators don’t back their teachers in situations like these. Teachers can’t enforce rules when administrators refuse to back them up when challenged.

        You are 100% correct. I probably knew about 10-15 teachers friends in my state (Colorado) and only half of them are still doing it. The stories I heard from the rest make me happy I didn’t go that route.

          Yup I got a degree in education but decided to not get a job as a teacher because of how bad I and the teachers around me were treated in student teaching.
