Nearing the six-month mark of the Iran war and facing diminishing stockpiles of key weapons, the Trump administration is touting a crushing financial campaign against Tehran, promising an “economic D-Day” against a country that has so far withstood nearly five decades of punishing American sanctions.

So, Iran is basically the new Cuba. This forever war is one long-ass humiliation ritual a’la the Bay of Pigs. And this dumbass motherfucker is still just pretending the US won and we’re in a position of power.

I guess he deserves an iota of credit for finally realizing that the US can’t bomb their way out of this without using a nuke, and using nukes is stupid.

    Awesome.

Iran alliance with China and Russia is stronger and Iran still control the straight. I don’t think it is another Cuba. Cuba is powerless

It’s not a comment on Cuba’s current power or lack thereof.

It’s a comment on the presumption of American might against a lesser foe and the spectacular failure therof, and this scenario is similar to the US/Cuba conflict that occurred in the 1960’s.
