Hello everyone, as a member of the r/tiki subreddit for quite a long time, and after the Reddit drama, I figured why not give the tiki folks a place to share in the fediverse. This community is unapologetically inspired by r/tiki as you may have noticed from the description and guidelines. I can only hope for those who jump ship from Reddit can feel they have a safe harbor here.

I’ve been meaning to check out the fediverse, so this looks like a good place to start. How are the mod tools here? Good tooling is going to be critical to persuading mods to try moving communities.
I might go ahead and spin up a private server at home this weekend, to see what’s possible.
