I agree with you, but this did not happen at a school. This was at a child’s birthday party which had the misfortune of being held nextdoor to a cop’s house. Don’t worry though, the court ruled that the cop was not at fault because, at the time his dog was mauling his neighbors, the cop was acting in his official roll as an officer by cleaning up shit and piss inside while his dog was outside acting in its own official capacity as an officer.
I thought so too, and the only reason I clicked through to read the article was because I wanted to see what horrible crime this small child committed to cause the cop to sick the dog on them. No, this was a different kind of cop incompetency on display.
