The NSW premier’s proposal to authorise Community Security Group to provide armed security at public events is potentially dangerous and heavily discriminates in favour of the Jewish Community.

“If we want to move into a situation where private ethnic militias can use up to deadly force in defence of people in the streets of Sydney, we are moving into a dark place,” the Labor MLC added. “I uphold and agree fully with the comments of the Police Association and also deputy commissioner Hudson… this is the job of our police. A special unit has been established with long arms”.

Imagine if the Muslim community asked for a special armed unit to solely protect them. There’d be a mini riot and Pauline’s hair would turn black. I’d like a Jedi special Unit with light sabres.
