I wish being awkward was genetic, because then awkward people would have been unable to get mates and therefore been bred out of the gene pool thousands of years ago and I wouldn’t have to exist just to lay awake at night alone and unloved remembering all my cringiest social moments
This is 100% a thing that happened. I bet it happened back to pre-civilization as a result of our socialization and might be evolutionary
