when I first made the move to Linux I started on Mint. lasted all of a week or two. I hated it. but instead of going back to Windows I just tried another distro. Landed on CachyOS and used that for a good year or so. then I moved to NixOS.
Now I’ve ditched them all and use OpenBSD with a partition of Bazzite purely for gaming.
All that being said I still like Linux, it’s not for everyone, some distros are absolute garbage so I don’t blame you for giving it a go and going back. If Windows suits your needs then awesome.
