In all seriousness though, I have a case with a winder for a mechanical watch, and while it keeps the mechanism ready the watch still needs to be reset regularly. Mechanical watches can’t match the precision of quartz crystal timing. They will gain or lose a few seconds every day even if kept perfectly wound, and after a week in the winder it will be noticeably off.
A $10 digital watch keeps time more accurately than a $1000 Swiss mechanism.
they do, but I’m not enough of a watch collector to necessitate owning one (I have a grand total of two, the two I just listed, and one is usually on my wrist)
They should make a watch stand that rotates so they stay wound
