I used the latest comparable data for work related deaths I could find without much effort: Source.
I added the profession of sex workers even though the available data is not really comparable, but I rated “Lifetime prevalence of […] workplace violence ranged from 45% to 75%” as probably more dangerous than the ~0,1% yearly death rate of logging workers.
TL;DR: Organize at your workplace to enforce safety standards and maybe establish new ones so less workers die.


It’s even less dangerous in most countries that hold training and acceptance to a police service at a high regard.
