Police say Officers Luis Vasquez Jr. and Antonio Felix stopped a vehicle on Aug. 5 at around 11:30 p.m. and proceeded to use force on a man and woman.

The traffic stop was not reported, and there was no body-worn camera activation, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Both officers were arrested on several felony charges, including:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Aggravated robbery
  • Kidnapping
  • Felony assault involving a bound and otherwise physically restrained individual
  • Threatening and intimidating
  • Criminal damage
  • Hindering prosecution
  • Tampering with evidence

    One officer had been with the Phoenix Police Department for eight years, and the other for nine years.

    They’ve been doing this for a long time, and I doubt they’re the only ones in the department. They just got cocky and sloppy because Trump is in office and there’s no such thing as a law you can’t buy your way out of anymore.

      I think they just misunderstood that they need to have a lot of money to buy their way out, and cops (despite being overpaid and undertrained) don’t make enough to qualify. You need a lot more zeroes on your supposed net worth.

      Being cops only protects against so much.

      I wonder if the victims knew someone important
