- Fully-fledged city building game, developed by Iceflake Studios.
- Separate team than Cities: Skylines II, but same game director.
- Very similar to Cities: Skylines but bigger emphasis on making things look good AND be functional.
- Planned to be released on Steam, PS5, Xbox, Switch 2 in early/mid 2027.
- Has story mode and planned updates/DLC for years to come.
- Said to be straightforward enough for beginners but still has enough depth for city builder game fans.
- Aims to support Steam Workshop/user content.
- Aims to include integration with Stud.io so you can design buildings for your city.

This is interesting. I like the idea, but I feel like they really should be focusing on working on Skylines 2. Then again, I’m not a developer so, eh.
It’s a different team working on the game.
Well, maybe if they’d focused more, they’d be working on that one instead!
I’ve given up on skylines 2, hoping that cityscape metropolis turns out to be a good successor.
Oh, nice. All I saw was Iceflake and didn’t look further. That’s good to hear. I like the concept of this. Hopefully we can actually alter buildings on a brick by brick basis. I am cautiously optimistic.
