Also, we can easily tell the Starbucks regulars from the non-Starbucks people, not by their order but by their mannerisms. Starbucks people are frequently rude and typically not very able to listen to us answer any questions they ask. Some people are diehard Starbucks superfans (which is fine, live and let live) and I think it’s because the experience is so standardized that they don’t have to engage their brains.
