        It’s way more than half. Between just Amazon and Walmart they employ 3.5 million.

        And there are plenty of other shitty jobs besides those two.

        It does but arbeit macht frei was a nazi slogan and tbh it goes well for the bootstraps folks: “you just need to work harder for a better life” essentially.

          Annoyingly, Nazis stole each one of their slogans. “Arbeit macht frei” is from the 1873 novel by Lorenz Diefenbach, in which gamblers and fraudsters find the path to virtue through labour, alluding to John 8:31–32.

            Yeah they don’t exactly have a lot of creativity of their own. But much like the swastika and certain tunes, it’s now associated with nazis rather than its original source
