It’s not so much hope as it is a belief in the inevitability of change. I’m not suggesting the trial is happening during his lifetime, and I’m not holding onto hope it may happen in mine either. Heck it may not even happen in the United States.

Trump cannot be president forever. That’s just a fact. Even if they entomb him at the White House and make him the Eternal President Kim Il Sung style, that too will one day fall. Even if the US never prosecutes him, the world has to reckon with the consequences of his actions.

tl;dr - I’m saying one day, when he’s out of office, someone will follow this up through criminal investigation. And those who will defend Trump, and there will always be some arsehole who will, will use the AI excuse to claim it was all made up then.

Is a little hard to parse when you said

Trump is waiting for his inevitable Epstein trial

Ugh, really? You want to argue semantics about this? Fine!

My belief that Trump fears and is awaiting his trial is not the same as my expected timeline of a trial happening.

        THERE. YOU HAPPY NOW?

I mean, I didn’t mean to make you argue anything, I was just trying to understand your comment. I found your first and second to be fairly contradictory. Regardless, we disagree on Trump here.
