How far away can TPMS sensors from a moving vehicle actually be detected? And do TPMS sensors broadcast some kind of ID number or other identifiable information that would distinguish them from the millions of other TPMS sensors on the same road?
Doubly happy now that my current car’s TPMS sensors are long dead. And now I’m planning to deliberately remove the sensors from any newer car I might get in the future.

I’ve taken to replacing them with rubber stems with the tire change
