There’s Project Borealis, but it’s a ways off from being completed. The last time I tried, it was too optimized for me to load. In the mean time, try Entropy: Zero(1 and 2). 2 incorporates elements from Laidlaw’s treatment, but from a different pov. With any luck, these fan projects will be canon with each other.
I’ve been avoiding reading that because I still hold out hope. I think some community effort started up to do it; I wonder how that is going?
