A single-payer universal health care system could cover every American, save more than 100,000 lives a year, and still cost $1 trillion less than the system it

Saving poor lives may be politically untenable but saving that much money should be a universal positive! I don’t understand how America convinces itself it’s still a bad idea. 🤷
