I have to spend the day with a group of people I don’t know. Main consultation is they won’t interact with me much.

I feel myself slipping back into my old habit of Restricting my food intake to have a sense of control/regulation.
Anorexia habits are hard to stop so I’m just letting it happen. I’ve tried getting help but there’s only so much they can do.
I’ve had counceling and Specialist counceling for it.
I am eating but its just not enough to sustain the body properly.
I think it’s common for those on the spectrum to have issues with food and control. So Disorder eating is a typical result.
Not exactly a nice way to spend a birthday.
This is just a comment to get it out of my system a little.
Sorry to hear about your struggles. I also struggle with this and it’s manifest in surprising ways. I thought I was over my disordered eating of my teens and 20s where the act was intentional. Now in my 40s it’s back but it’s not conscious. In a way it’s easier because I’m not fighting my conscious brain and I am able to eat enough food, I just need to trick myself. It was really uncomfortable to realize that it’s part of the same thing but understanding it is helping me get through it.
That’s what I’m noticing, Little things my brain does which are linked to the disordered eating which I was doing really well with (Eating “Normally” that is).
I’m in my 30s, yet it’s still just there itching away on my thoughts. Everything just feeds itself with the ill habits.
I’m sorry it’s there wiggling its way back into your thoughts.
