I don’t care if you personally find it sexist or not.

Why should I care that you find it sexist?

I guess I would have to cite Mr. Rogers et al. on the benefits of basic kindness towards your fellow humans. Would you say the same for the N word?

Regardless of my personal take on why this stood out as particularly sexist, why is this particular insult so important that it’s worth being hurtful to those it might more meaningfully impact?

The thing is: I don’t believe you that calling a tiktok zombie from the video a stupid bitch is hurtful to women.

My personal opinion doesn’t matter to you, your doesn’t matter to me.

Do you recognize that many women would see it as unnecessarily sexist? That you could have just as easily used any similar ungendered insult and not hurt those that find it makes them uncomfortable?

I didn’t start this saying you or the comment were sexist, I started letting you know some folks might feel hurt by it. With this constant defense the question continues to be, why is it more important to you specifically that you use this specific insult even if others are bothered by it?

Like genuinely, why doesn’t it matter to you that it hurts other people’s feelings? And why is it so important that you say it on a public forum?
