I’ve propagated a dozen different plants but this one just won’t happen for me. I’m using all the methods I’ve had success with elsewhere and always end with a dead vine.

I’ve tried right into soil, right into water. Letting a cutting dry overnight. Dabbing rooting hormones on it. Sharing a cup with other rooting plants. Nothing!

So if you’ve had success, what did you do? Did you find it any harder to propagate than others?

    I somehow missed this, sorry!

    I had 4 in water when I posted this and 3 wilted away. The last one sprung a decent root almost overnight and now it’s doing fine back in the soil.

    I’m really wondering if it’s just the genes in this specific plant. I’ve been thinking about getting a “mystery box” of rooted cuttings from some established Etsy shop and those usually include adansonii so I’ll give it a try if it does
