I feel like that’s a pretty common opinion, I’ve never heard of anyone railing against motorsports not being a sport.

These days, I hear the line “it’s just people driving in circles” from F1 fans dumping on NASCAR, more than anything else.
But like, any sport sounds boring when you just break it down like that. Baseball, basketball, either kind of football, they’re all about a bunch of dudes just moving a ball around.
The people who say that are being willfully ignorant. If it was just “driving in circles” F1 drivers would have more success when they go to NASCAR.
