And as a state where any young person with an education and chances for a job has been leaving for greener pastures for over a decade, there is not much money to be found. Especially when federal and foreign investment money dries up, which is to be expected.
I’m glad that the AfD isn’t polling double digits in non-shithole states, otherwise I would find it way harder to dismiss this as a backwards-conservative blip on the steady march of progress.
