She’s an actress , she was in The Handmaid’s Tale, Euphoria, and White Lotus recently-ish. She’s also done some movies but I don’t know about that. She’s became famous very fast and was in those three hugely popular TV series.
TBH, you all come across as incredibly pretentious and ingenuine by pretending not to even know who she is. You’ve certainly heard her name on social media. She’s frequently the subject of posts on even Lemmy, so if you’re on any other social media you DEFINITELY have heard of her, but even here on this island you’ve encountered subject matter about her.
She’s also done some advertisements for pants and soap that come across as MAGA dog whistles, and she has done nothing to contradict being a racist, so that’s why people are mad at her.
I could go learn about Sydney Sweeney, while I’m available and in the queue for calls at my job, or I could just keep reading There is No Antimemetics Division, until I get interrupted by some doctor needing their outlook fixed.
Like, the question isn’t even bout five hundred grand anymore, it’s about literally anything to do with this lady, versus my personal “hat/book against work” inertia.
Also I just got a call from a Dr. Sweeney about needing something fixed, but he’s a guy, so now the entire proposition gets just a touch weirder, another line of terms and conditions apply. View mode, compact, reading pane on the right, never pick single unless it’s Sydney Sweeney asking.
