The far right protestors have been threatening the volunteers and posting their details online. So the station has been temporarily closed. The harassment is happening because they saved the lives of a bunch of brown people rather than checking their papers and leaving them to drown.
The lifeboat crews all do this voluntarily, they are probably one of the most respected emergency services by normal people.
