The real question in my mind is, do any of these girls speak English natively? Watched Wawa today and she didn’t think so.
I really hope the recent changes at Cover (‘One Hololive’) doesn’t mean that they’re basically going to only hire JP Vtubers who some percentage of may happen to speak English.
Looking at the marketing they did for the group, I think they’ll all be JP Natives. And I mean, that’s fine, a “mixed” gen would feel weird imo.
Honestly at the moment I feel like we have enough members so I wouldn’t mind not getting an EN gen for a while, but yeah it would feel pretty bad if after all the merger talk we get like, two new full-JP gens in a row.
