if he makes it past the primaries

    If.

It hasn’t happened yet, and so this sort of rhetoric is appropriate now. If Ledivin were talking about some House candidate in the current election cycle, I’d be with you, but he’s talking about the election two years from now and there’s still time to get rid of Newsom.

The dnc will rig the primaries to force a fascist neoliberal genocide supporting corporatist shitbag who won’t reverse project 2025, hold anyone accountable, put the Epstein pedophiles in prison, oppose the genocidal fundamentalist fascist colony of Israel or reverse the mass surveillance project.

So let’s do the same, but towards the left. It’s been successful for the right so far. Why wouldn’t it be for us?

Of course “if”… But they are literally replying to a post where the user says they will never vote for Newsom. That is the sentiment I see persisting too across left leaning spaces… Even if trump tears up the constitution and runs for a third term, the purity testers on the left would rather not vote and give the right a lower bar to maintain power. This sentiment is dangerous and in my opinion contributed to why Kamala lost, and poses a direct risk to the lives and rights of my kids. It needs to be called out.

Claiming that publicly so the Democratic Party hears it right now is good, as long as it’s a bluff.

Nah, it’s not a bluff. Stop putting up shitty right-leaning centrists or lose. I’m done fighting for shitty people, and I have the means to leave 🤷‍♂️ selfish? Of course. I don’t care, anymore. The DNC can get their shit together or die.

Your brinkmanship and uncompromising have cost my daughter rights, and I have no respect for you. I want progressive policies. In my hierarchy of preferences, I want a progressive, then a centrist democrat, then a Republican. This whole mentality of “progressive or stay home” is a cancer on the rights of the marginalized. Under Kamala, things wouldn’t be fixed, but they would sure as shit be better than trump. Your attitude has no different of a result than being “pro trump.” When the chips are down, you are handed options, but you vote for the better option. Statement votes killed Gazans.

History and statistics don’t agree with you. If every leftist in the country voted for Kamala, she still lost. Your demand for constant compromise of human rights has led to their decline. Refusing to entertain non-right candidates has given us the ratchet effect that led to your daughter’s suffering. Great job advocating for the strategy that hurts her, though!

Great appeal to emotions instead of actually focusing on the impact you could have 👌

What appeal to emotion… Trump won, Kamala lost, Gazans are getting gleefully slaughtered with US support, and we are still out here litigating that more people should have voted against Kamala??? What an absurd display of privilege that proves you actually suffer no consequences of this fascist regime. You can’t “um akshually according to a study” your way out of the real harm that came from the online left running a scorched earth campaign against the lesser evil.
