I do hope watch girl is worth it, especially with how limited time8 episodes get us. I completely didn’t think about who was taking care of Earl. It would have made more sense if Earl had been with John this whole time.
I wonder if watch girl is an extension/spy for Noah. If Noah is a secret Manhunter it’s possible he has a number of people “working” for him, and a waitress at the cafe would be a good scout. She was also at Hal’s house just before Noah showed up, once again scouting.
