i have a prognathic jaw so i got the curiosity of visitng the jaw surgery community,(subs) and there are people that DELUSIonal. they are basically assuming thier jaws are all “misaligned or thier face looks wierd” when people in the sub who actually had/need it, said there is nothing wrong with them. at least 1 of them actually went abroad from the UK, to TURKEY and got a sketchy surgeon to do the surgery, and of course it was botched. they never say they have actual health issues.(they bypass actual surgeon consults in thier own countries by the way, which would deny them go ahead).
bonesmashing is a little more benign than actual surgery, which is more complex and invasive.
Why the fuck would anyone want to do any of this? Reading this it sounds like a description of mental disorder.
