Edit: the properly sapphic communities were on lemmynsfw.com. They’re still there, but the instance is an archive now, so it doesn’t do any good.
I think a good sapphic oriented (as opposed to generic lesbian porn oriented) nsfw community could do okay here. It would take good moderation to keep it from just being a lesbian porn community though, and there is a difference.
Ope, and yeah it’d definitely take some moderation both to keep it oc only and to keep it on topic, but I assume there are plenty of users who would be interested in posting in such a community. But yeah I’m sad it no longer exists…

And yeah I’ve put in more than my fair share of internet moderating over the years and the wife would prefer I not do it again lol. I also used to run an irl women’s group and that was actually a lot of fun with how I got to play wack a mole with dudes rsvping to events. Like on lemmy it probably would be somewhere in between where you do get to take pleasure in wielding the banhammer, but it would be more than one every month or so. If you can automatically pin a comment to every post it would probably not even require the women’s space level of regularly telling men not to comment. Big thing is you’d want to put out feelers for comods before you start so you have 1 or 2 other people also moderating from the start.
But yeah if someone makes it I’d gladly post some ass
