oh god story time: I went to a con wearing a costume that was pretty much just a latex zentai, a helmet and kickass boots. Anyways, going through security and somehow I set off the metal detector and the guy wants to wand me - but before I could say anything, the head of security shouted over “Oh come on man, where the fuck would she be hiding a gun??” and just waved me through. Friends & I still shout that one at each other in memory of the most correct security guy we’ve ever found at a con.
