I’m constantly bored, yet too crushed to do anything. Gaming used to be a saving grace as it’s low effort high intensity tickling for my instant gratification monkey. But it doesn’t do the trick anymore.
I think that’s why I basically replaced gaming with social media now that you mention it. Gaming wasn’t simulating enough to hold my attention anymore. I’ve tried to get back into it in recent years but it just feels like work.
