I kept it all contained. Kept the oven locked. Turned it off. Grabbed a fire extinguisher just in case, and I did not need it.

Please let me know if I should turn it back on clean mode to get all the shit out or hire someone to.

    My oven is 15 years old and I use cleaning mode once a year. The heating elements have failed and needed replacement but not the electronics.

    If insulation didn’t work well enough, cabinets would scorch because they are right up against the sides while the electronics have a few extra inches gap.
