I’d rather just be alone on both fronts. Life is too short to be miserable. When I’m alone nobody lecture me about my gender and I have yet to ever meet a person who doesn’t do that. Honestly the conservative trad people I have met lecture me less about it than all the progressive liberals, who are utterly obsessed with policing everyone’s gender identity now. Even to the point now where I will no longer hang out in public spaces anymore because I’m sick of some random insane person approaching me looking to start a fight about how I look and their perception of me as a Trump supporter based on my face/body shape or whatever nonsense they believe and their insane entitled sense of ‘protecting’ themselves from ‘people like you’. Apparently my physical existence in public space, quieting minding my own business reading a book, is now ‘harassment’, or so I have been repeatedly told the past few years.
You know who doesn’t care about my gender? My dog and my cat. Weird how that works.
Yeah, it would certainly be a etter world if people were more like dogs and cats. I’m sorry to hear that people bother you about gender. In the 80’s I thought we were headingvto a place in the west where everyone was androgynous and people just wore what they wanted and fucked who they wanted. In some ways I think the trans culture is a step in the wrong direction as it actually emphasizes conservative sexist notions. But I support it because of the prevailing notion that people should be able to be however they want if it doesn’t hurt others. I’m slightly curious why people would think you’re maga by site unless you wear a red hat or you have swastika tats. Of course almost everyone who challenges you on your identity is really just insecure about their own identity and is lashing out as a pathetic defensive mechanism. Still, there are some good people out there, and it’s worth having a few good friends if you can find them - sometimes you have to be patient and work through people own insecurities and defenses to build trust and develop a real friendship. Same goes for dogs if you get a rescue that’s been abused - it can take a long time being there for them and ignoring the snarls which come from fear. Eventually you end up with the most loyal and loving friend possible.

I look like a frat bro.
