    An opinion piece, with quite a lot of wishful thinking, I fear. Also, while I do wish that Moscovia loses influence in the world, and the Russian population can wrestle control away from Moscovia, and repair the damage their country has done, I believe that a power vacuum in Russia would create a dangerous imbalance in favour of China. With the US in innerpolitical disarray, having a deep crack going through the middle of society, I am worried about the future of the whole world, and Europe in particular needs to speak with a more united voice, and try to guide the world back into an era of peace.

    I don’t think Moscovia’s PR coup in favour of NATO, leading to a boost in support & strength of NATO, is a good thing in the long run. I don’t want to live in a world of a permanent threat of war, I would much prefer if we could find an antidote to populism and authoritarianism that works in all countries. Alas - I have no idea how to accomplish that :(
