Eat the eggs…? That seems like a waste. I mean, sure, for an occasional snack but I’d wait until the mini-me hatched and have a succulent meal later. If you’re laying one every day and were patient you could feed an army. Which I would have because I’d only eat every other off-spring and the others would be the foundation of the new Imperial order.
If you’re letting your mini mes live you could just keep 5 or so trapped and steal their eggs for dinner.
