As a compliment to the thread about near death experiences I’d really like hearing people’s experiences of losing consciousness under general anesthesia and what’s it like coming back.

Also interested of things anesthetists may have noticed about this during their career.

    God, that sounds so much cooler than what happened to me the only time I’ve been under. I think it was only just twilight sedation where you don’t technically lose consciousness but you do lose your memory of the entire time on the drug, but either way, I was extremely groggy and disorientated (but not at all loopy) and threw up in the car on the way home. I went bed as soon as I was home because I was still so sleepy, and slept for several hours even though it was the middle of the day 😩
