I have Mark Read on Scroll and Hide read posts button enabled in settings. I’ve used the PWA and iOS app. Read posts still appear in my feed after hiding. Sometimes I have to click hide twice or the top posts are already read. Eventually after scrolling for some time, read posts either take over the feed (including posts hid that session) or appear interspersed with other posts.
My question is: is hiding not persistent? Is there another way to reduce the number of repeat/read posts in my feed?
I don’t see how to do that via the Voyager app.
You can’t, you have to go to your instance website (e.g. Lemmy.ca, then profile settings)
Thanks. It would be nice if this setting was available in the app.
Fair, I agree but to my knowledge, no apps currently have it in settings, maybe some kind of restriction with Lemmy idk
